It's Confirmation Time

Cloë have you noticed how busy the churches are at night in our area these days? What do you think is going on?

Well Tallulah there are almost 400 kids in grade 2 who are receiving confirmation!

Confirmation?! What does that mean Cloë?

Confirmation is one of the sacraments that Catholics receive Tallulah. Sacraments are gifts that God gives to each of us. At confirmation the Holy Spirit comes to us in a very special way. (Click here to download the colouring page.)
Who is this Holy Spirit Cloë?

The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity, you know God the Father, God the Son (that's Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a little bit like a vitamin because He keeps us healthy and able to fight off sin. He also helps us to love God and others.

Here is a great song to help you better understand who the Holy Spirit is (don't forget to click on fullscreen!)

Until next time - Woof!
