Happy Saint Patrick's Day

Today is a good day to be Irish, right Cloë!

It is Tallulah, it is the day everyone can be Irish because it is Saint Patrick's Day.

So who is Saint Patrick?

Patrick was born hundreds of years ago in Great Britain. When he was 16, he was kidnapped and sold into slavery in Ireland. He eventually escaped and was able to go home. By this time he had become a friend of God's and decided to become a priest. He made it his mission to go back to Ireland to tell the people about God. Today, nearly everyone in Ireland is a Christian so he was successful!

Watch this short video that tells Saint Patrick's story.

If you visit Catholic Inspired you will find lots a great pictures to colour.

I personally prefer to celebrate by eating rather than colouring. So for those of you like me, why not make Irish Soda Bread for supper! If you click here you will find a recipe and a how to video.

Woof!

O'Cloë and O'Tallulah :)
