Advent - Day 9 - The Immaculate Conception of Mary

Today, December 8th, begins a week of feast days. We begin with one of the most important feasts for Mary. Tradition holds that today is the day that Mary was conceived.

When Mary appeared to Bernadette at Lourdes, Mary told her that she was the Immaculate Conception.

Look at the great colouring picture I found to celebrate this day Cloë!

It's from a new blog we just discovered called Paper Dali written by Veronica. Visit her blog to download this picture and to see all the other cool things she has including Paper Dolls.

The always creative Lacy over at Catholic Icing has come up with ornaments that you can make for today's feast day and the others that are coming up. Once you are finished you can hang them on your Christmas tree.

Wow Cloë those are super cool. Is that Mary in her mommy's tummy?

It sure is Tallulah.

Visit Catholic Icing to download the 12 patterns for just $5!

That's it for now - Woof!
