Day 22 of Advent - Mary the Mom

Today we continue our cast of the Christmas Story with Mary!

This Sunday's Gospel told the story of the Angel Gabriel telling Mary that God was asking her to be Jesus' Mom.

That is pretty awesome Cloë!

It is indeed Tallulah. One of the reasons that Mary's decision to say yes was so awesome is that she wasn't actually married yet and this meant that many people would talk about her and probably not be very nice to her.

YES!

That must be because they didn't understand who her baby was going to be, right Cloë?

Exactly Tallulah. They did not know that Jesus was the King they had been waiting for. The first part of this video tells the story of the angel talking to Mary. (The second half is the rest of the Christmas Story!)

Cloë I have been checking out the Internet to find Christmas cookie recipes.

Are you thinking about your stomach again!!

Yes, I am a growing dog after all! And I found some neat ones that kids can make with their parents or grandparents or aunts or babysitters. Click here to find out how to make these reindeer cookies.

The other day we talked about the Angels, as you can see we found our own angel!

Well that's it for today! Woof!
